CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS WITH A JAPANESE MARINADE

Coated in a tasty marinade with Japanese flavors, these chicken drumsticks will be the perfect solution for a quick and easy meal that everyone will enjoy! The secret of this recipe? A crazy marinade that will take us straight to Japan. You can accompany these chicken drumsticks with rice, as well as vegetables cooked in the oven, for a complete and balanced meal, or even for a TV set :-)

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks (or nibbles)
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sriracha/gochujang/chili sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ginger, grounded
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

Materials

  • 1 airtight oven-safe glass box / Gratin dish + cling film

Preparation

  • Step 1:

    Pour the soy sauce, sesame oil and cider vinegar into the airtight container. Add the brown sugar, sriracha sauce, garlic powder, honey, ground ginger and sesame seeds.

  • Step 2:

    Mix everything well to make the marinade.

  • Step 3:

    Place the chicken drumsticks in the box.

  • Step 4:

    Shake the box well to evenly distribute the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  • Step 5:

    Remove the lid and bake for 25 minutes at 390°F (200°C).

  • Step 6:

    And there you have it, your Japanese marinated chicken drumsticks are ready!
