Cooking can be a breeze with fuss-free recipes like the sausage casserole traybake from the culinary queen of baking, Jane's Patisserie.
Not only a whizz at whipping up sweet treats, Jane Dunn is dishing out some delectable dinner ideas too, and her one-pan sausage traybake is a family pleaser. She said: "This recipe takes minutes to throw together, cooks really easily in the oven, and then is absolutely delicious to devour.
"It's an easy favourite of mine and my family, so you should definitely give it a go as well. This delicious savoury recipe is something that most families already make, but I wanted to inspire those who maybe haven't tried it already, or give a little idea for dinner if you're a bit stuck on what to make."

Designed to feed three to four hungry mouths, this versatile recipe can easily be adjusted for more guests by simply increasing the ingredients according to your needs, reports the Express. On occasion, Jane likes to pair the bake with extra greens and "a good serving of thick gravy".
Preheat your oven to 210C/190 Fan/Gas mark 5 and reach for a spacious oven-proof baking dish. If you're planning to feed a crowd and need to double up on the recipe, consider splitting it between two dishes to ensure even cooking.
Toss chopped onions, carrots, peppers, new potatoes, and sausages into the dish, then drizzle with olive oil and honey, and sprinkle with dried thyme and garlic.
Jane, who shared her recipe, mentioned she used caramelised onion sausages but assured that any type will do. She advised: "Any sausage works – whether it's the cheapy cheap ones, chicken ones, vegetarian ones, just make sure they are regular-sized."
Season everything with salt and pepper, give it a good mix to coat well, and pop it in the oven. After 20 minutes, give it another toss and bake for a further 20 minutes. Serve hot straight from the oven.
