Here's our simple method for peeling peppers cooked in the microwave, ideal for saving time in the kitchen! This quick technique easily removes the skin from peppers, making preparation even easier. The skin will almost peel off on its own, leaving you with perfectly peeled peppers for all your favorite recipes, including grilled and marinated peppers for summer :-)

Ingredients

  • Bell peppers

Materials

  • Microwave-safe dish
  • Freezer bag
  • Microwave

Preparation

  • Step 1:

    Wash and dry the peppers. Make two cuts in the skin of the bell pepper and press down a little.

  • Step 2:

    Place the peppers (slit side up) in a microwave-safe container and cook for 18 minutes at full power, turning halfway through.

  • Step 3:

    Remove peppers from microwave and place in a freezer bag. Close the bag and allow the peppers to cool completely (approx. 10 minutes).

  • Step 4:

    Now you can peel peppers easily by hand!
